Today has been an awesome day so far. I woke up this morning to the ducks quacking outside my window. I live near a lake and we have about 16 ducks who are constantly hungry. So we fed them.
Later my family went to Cracker Barrel for brunch. It was good. Now I am at my daughters house preparing new ideas for my class next year. That is where my passion is. I love to plan fun and interesting things for children to do. I am working on a Nursery Rhymes site. I don't think children are taught Nursery Rhymes anymore. I want my class to know these rhymes. I also want to teach Bible stories to my class. The other day I was talking about Zacchaeus. Some of my children did not know who he was. They wanted to know why this little man climbed up in the tree. Well I had to teach the song and tell the story. I love to see a child get excited about something. I'm looking forward to new and exciting ideas. I'm so excited to have a blog. welcome.
